Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy at The Centre for Health and Sports Medicine
Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) is a specialized form of physiotherapy used to improve problems with vision, balance and dizziness, that arise from disorders of the inner ear. The goal of VRT is to retrain the brain to properly coordinate information between the vestibular system, the eyes and the musculo-skeletal system. Treatment is provided by physiotherapists that have received advanced post-graduate training and is covered as a physiotherapy service under extended health care insurance plans.
